Gabriel D'Amico-Mazza
Director of Business Development
Gabriel has a background in business and science and completed graduate studies in Health Care Management from McGill University. Gabriel joined GCP Research in 2010, he has been involved in managing over 80 clinical trials and has led GCP Research to become one of the top recruiting sites across Canada. He also has extensive knowledge in business start-ups and business management and his understanding will aid in the advancement of GBM-5.

Giuseppe Mazza
Medical Advisor, MD
Dr. Mazza holds an MD from McGill University and is the President and founder of GCP Research. Dr. Mazza has been involved in over 140 clinical trials as the principal investigator. His vast knowledge in clinical research will assist in the development of GBM-5.

Gilbert Blaise
Chief Scientific Officer, Anesthesiologist, MD
Dr. Blaise was born in Belgium and did his medical training, anesthesia and intensive care specialization at the Université de Liège in Belgium. After his training he became chief anesthesiologist in 2 hospitals in Luxembourg where he worked for 4 years. During this time, he completed his post-doctoral training in several University hospitals in Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland. In 1980 he was appointed assistant professor of anesthesiology at Sherbrooke University in Quebec. In 1983, Dr Blaise did a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at the hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, while being accepted in 2 post-doctoral training programs at the Mayo Clinic foundation in Rochester, Minnesota: one in intensive care and in cardiovascular anesthesia and one in basic science in Dr Paul Vanhoutte Laboratory where he was introduced in cardiovascular research and the discovery of Nitric Oxide (NO). Back in Montreal in 1986, he was appointed assistant professor of anesthesiology at the University of Montreal, then became associate and full professor of anesthesia with an affiliation to the medicine department at the University of Montreal and an affiliation to the anesthesia department at McGill university.

Pierre Sévigny
Business Advisor
Pierre has over 35 years of experience in product development and business development. He has helped launch and market over 300 different life science products. He holds multiple patents that relate to the biotech industries and two independent patents. Pierre has founded numerous companies in the life sciences sector and has experience with North America, Europe and Asia for business expansion.

Dr. Krishna Peri
Scientific Advisor
Dr. Peri is an experienced scientist/pharmaceutical executive in drug discovery, preclinical development, peptide drugs and translational research. Dr. Peri’s expertise is in GPCRs, endocrine and metabolic disorders, inflammatory diseases, therapeutic peptides and small molecules. Early stage clinical & regulatory experience. Dr. Peri’s previous activities include 22 years of R&D experience in the pharmaceutical industry; 12 years of academic research experience. Michael Palumbo
Chief Oncologist, MD, PhD
Dr. Palumbo graduated from the faculty of medicine from University of McGill in 2008. He completed his Hematology/Medical Oncology Fellowship at McGill University in 2014. He is an acting staff at The Jewish General Hospital, in the Hematology-Oncology Department. He is also an acting staff at Santa Cabrini, in the Department of Hematology-Oncology. He obtained his PhD in Experimental Medicine in 2008 and his extensive research experience has led him to partner with GCP Research and head the Oncology clinical trials division.

Anas Nseir
Medical Inspector, MD, CCFP, FCCP, B.Pharm
Executive director at the Collège des médecins du Québec inspection unit. He has extensive experience in management in the health care field having actively played a role in the CMQ strategic culture changes that occurred during the last three years. Dr. Nseir has a strong experience in medicine practice, medical teaching, research and leadership. With a background as a pharmacist and a physician, he has accumulated both knowledge and experience in the medical and medical management field as well as teaching medical students and residents.
